HBK'ites REJOICE ' JOY OF GIVING ' WITH DADA DADIS
As many as 13 inmates of ' Jeevan Sandhya ' Old Age Home visited HB Kapadia School ( Memnagar ) and shared their experiences of life with the students of class fifth to seventh on Wednesdayas a part of ' Joy of Giving ' week.
They urged the students to respect theirparents under all circumstances and asked them not to send their parents to old-age home asit feels lonely at times. During the days ahead the inmates will visit the school and teach students various other arts they expertise in. It was fun for the children to spend time with Dada and Dadis' .
The oldies are even being trained by music teacher at HBK. They would sing " Kisi ki muskurahaton pe ho nissar, kisi ka dard mil sake to le udhar, ksi ke vaaste ho teredil me pyaar, jeena isi ka naam hai " during the annual function of the school next month.
Prasha Mishra, 13, said, " It was a happening day for me as I never imagined that our elders are store house of experience. They have taught us the importance of parents in our lives. I have taken a vow that I will always treat my parents with utmost respect and care. "
The Dada - Dadis' were also overhelmed duriing the interaction. Saiyukta Pandya, 82, from Jeevan Sandhya Old Age Home, said, " It was really an enriching experience as these young kids are full of life and eager to learn. My only message to these innocent children is that they must learn to love and respect their parents. And never leave them to suffer in their old age, when they need the children's support the most.
